Throughout the past year, city staff has worked in a number of different ways to create
opportunities to enhance the tax base and create jobs. Following is a list of those opportunities.

survey also helped staff determine vacancy rates in industrial business parks.

new in the City of Chanhassen. The four developers provided updates on their future plans.

e. Code Amendments: Staff drafted an amendment that would permit gun ranges and

paintball courses in the city. The gun range ordinance was adopted. This ordinance
provided an additional use in our commercial and industrial district.
