SUBJ: Approve Plans and Specification for Lake Lucy Road and Utility Phase I Project
(Trunk Highway 41 to 1500 lineal feet east)
Project No. 92 -12
At their regular meeting on Monday, June 13, 1994, the pity Council held a public hearing and authorized the
preparation of plans and specifications for the Lake Lucy ;Road and Utility Phase I Improvement Project No. 92 -12.
As such, the project engineer, Bill Engelhardt of Engelhardt & Associates has put together the plans and
specifications for this project. Bill has done a greatjob f coordinating the proposed improvements for this project
in a manner compatible with the proposed developments on the Jerome Carlson and Gestach/Paulson properties.
The primary project elements consist of the extension of lateral sanitary sewer from the existing Lake Ann
Interceptor, the extension of watermain from the Minnetonka Middle School south along Trunk Highway 41 and
east throughout the project, the installation of stczrm sewer, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous roadway, and a
bituminous trail. At this time, the road will extend from Trunk Highway 41 to just east of the proposed Pondview
Court and the Brenden Pond development ,However, given the recent preliminary plat submittal for the Ryan
property to the east, it is likely that Phase -Ii would extend the road east to Galpin Boulevard in the near future.
