The courts we do offer are kept in playable condition through patching and resurfacing on a six to ten year cycle. PS/ f"4/ f / CO N / Re, el wt / �c' • CITY OF CHANHASSEN TENNIS COURT "RESURFACING" SPECIFICATIONS Work on courts with new asphalt to consist of the following: • Open fencing and cut one fence post off flush in one corner of court to provide access for black topper to get paver and equipment into court area at North Lotus Lake Park only. • Remove and dispose of existing tennis net poles and center tie -down anchors from each court. • Patch large cracks with blacktop mix. • Mill asphalt along inside perimeters of fence line. Sweep area clean. Apply tack coat (asphalt cement) at .25 gallons /5Y. Install overlay paving fabric (Petromat). • Apply tack coat. Install 2" MN/DOT bituminous wear course. Roll and compact. • Provide and install new tennis net poles and center tie -down anchors on each court after the court has been paved, and has cured. • Sleeve and weld fence post that was removed back into place; secure fencing in corner of court at North Lotus Lake Park. • Clean and wash surface as needed. • Patch any low areas. • Apply a 4 -coat color system.
