RESOLUTION AMENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF PRECINCTS 1B & 4
WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen adopted Resolution 2012 -18 Establishing Precincts
and Polling Locations on March 26, 2012.
WHEREAS, the boundary line between Legislative Districts 33B and 47B was shown
incorrectly on the map that was adopted on March 26, 2012.
WHEREAS, State statute requires that the city follow legislative district lines when
establishing precincts.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Chanhassen, Counties of Carver and Hennepin, State of Minnesota amend the boundaries for
Precincts 1B and 4 as shown on the attached map to coincide with legislative district boundary line
and to amend the descriptions that depict Precincts 1B and 4.
Passed and adopted by the Chanhassen City Council this 25 day of June, 2012.

Precinct 1B
Beginning at the school district boundary of ISD 276 and ISD 112 and the Carver County and
Hennepin County boundary thence southwesterly along the centerline of Highway 101 to the
intersection of State Highway 5; thence westerly along the centerline of State Highway 5 to the
Twin Cities and Western Railroad right -of -way; thence northerly along an extension of the
centerline of Kerber Boulevard to the cul -de -sac of Kerber Boulevard; thence northerly along the
centerline of Kerber Boulevard to the intersection of Saddlebrook Curve; thence westerly along
the centerline of Saddlebrook Curve to the intersection of Powers Boulevard, County Road 17;
thence northerly along the centerline of Powers Boulevard to the intersection of Carver Beach
Road; thence east following the school district boundary of ISD 276 and ISD 112 to the Carver
County and Hennepin County boundary to the point of beginning.

Beginning at the intersection of State Highway 5 and Audubon Road thence easterly along the
centerline of State Highway 5 to the intersection of Highway 101, thence north along the
centerline of Highway 101 to the school district boundary of ISD 276 and ISD 112 and the
Carver County and Hennepin County Boundary; thence south along the Carver and Hennepin
County Boundary to Rice Marsh Lake, thence westerly along Riley Creek to County Road 101;
thence southerly along County Road 101 to the intersection of Lake Susan Drive; thence westerly
along the centerline of Lake Susan Drive to the intersection of Water Edge Drive; thence south
along the centerline of Waters Edge Drive (abandoned old Highway 101) to the centerline of U.S.
Highway 212; thence southwesterly along U.S. Highway 212 to the centerline of Lyman
Boulevard, County Road 18; thence westerly along the centerline of Lyman Boulevard to the
intersection of Audubon Road (north); thence northerly along the centerline of Audubon Road to
the point of beginning.
