Authorize Preparation of Plans and Specifications for Stone Creek
Drive (North of Coulter Boulevard)
Project No. 98-15
The feasibility report for the Stone Creek Drive Improvement Project No. 98-15
was approved at the regular City Council meeting on March 22, 1999. This
improvement project was petitioned for by Bluff Creek Partners~a~d Family of
Christ Lutheran Church. The primary project elemeq,tl~conSist'6f'construction of a
36-foot wide commercial street, storm sewer, watermain and sanitary sewer
improvements as outlined in the approved feasibility report. The total project cost'
is estimated to be approximately $312,000.00 and is proposed to be financed
100% by assessments to the benefiting property owners.
The public hearing for this project was also held March 22, 1999 and no concerns
were expressed by either the petitioning property owners or residents. The Family
of Christ Lutheran Church is tentatively scheduled to request both site plan and
final plat approval at ihe April 26, 1999 City Council meeting.
It is recommended that the City Council formally authorize Bonestroo, Rosene,
Anderlik & Associates, the consultant engineering firm for this project, to proceed
with preparation of plans and specifications.
