1h. Resolution regarding assessement for projects 90-13 and 87-2 ' NOTE: Hopefully this resolution is self - explanatory. Approval is recommended. 1 CITY OF CHANHASSEN DWA (11- 22 -93) CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA 1 DATE: RESOLUTION NO: MOTION BY: SECONDED BY: RESOLUTION INCORPORATING PENDING ASSESSMENTS FOR PROJECTS 90 -13 AND 87 -2 INTO THE DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT 86 -11 ASSESSMENT ROLL, MARKET SQUARE 1 WHEREAS, the original Downtown Public Improvement Project (No. 86 -11) i ncluded the extension of a major storm sewer pipe through the property west of Market Boulevard and south of West 78th Street (Market Square Development Project); and 1 WHEREAS, the necessity to complete that portion of the project immediately was not required as open ditching would work during the time frame that the Market Square Development would be planned; and WHEREAS, Market Square Development proposals did in fact occur, including the creation of development contracts wherein the developers of Market Square agreed to be assessed the costs of the second phase project. 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Chanhassen City Council that the pending assessments for Projects 90 -13 and 87 -2 are hereby made a part of the original assessment roll for Project 86 -11 in accordance with the development contracts entered into between the city and the developers of Market Square (as depicted on Exhibit A attached hereto).
