The City's standard construction specifications and development contract establish construction working hours for all projects within the City be limited to 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays with no I construction activities allowed on Sundays or legal holidays. The developer was requested to send out letters to residents within 500 feet of the development notifying them of this variance application. The City has not received any response from the letters that were sent 1 out. Staff does support granting a variance to the work hours on Saturday; however, due to the I proximity of the homes to the north, work should not commence any earlier than 8:00 a.m. - on Saturday. In addition, the variance should be granted only for the site grading, utility and street construction aspects of the project and not during construction of the dwellings. 1 ktm I Attachments: 1.
