SUBJ: Change Order No. 1, Lake Ann Irrigation Project
1 Please find attached information in regard to recommended changes to the Lake Ann Park
Irrigation contract with Innovative Irrigation. These changes have been initiated by the city to
address a variety of relatively minor issues. The changes will result in the city receiving a job
which meets the expectations of all departments associated with the project, park maintenance,
park administration, inspections and utilities. The itemized costs for these changes in contract
specifications have been reviewed and are "in- line" with industry standards.
Approval is recommended. The current contract price, including the change order, will be
$50,870.00. The original estimate for the project was $60,000.

RE: Change Order No. 1
Lake Ann Park Irrigation Project
City of Chanhassen C.P. R.A. 350
1
' Honorable Mayor and City Council Members:
Enclosed is Change Order No. 1 for the Lake Ann Park Irrigation
System project. The additional work required by Change Order No.
1 consists of:
(1) Relocation of the irrigation pumping station from the existing
' concession building to an exterior metal enclosure and
additional equipment. There is a limited amount of space in
the existing concession building and it was determined that it
would be better to retain the existing space as is and move
the pumping station to an exterior location.
(2) Adding one additional irrigation zone to Ballfield No. 2.
1 This would allow the size of Ballfield No. 2 to be expanded.
If you have any questions please contact us.
1
Sincerely,
WILLIAM R. ENGELHARDT ASSOCIATES, INC.
