Dear Mayor Furlong:
As a result of the economic downturn and operational considerations, Genesys Conferencing
Inc. is closing its Call Center located at 7980 Century Boulevard, Chanhassen, Minnesota 55317,
effective between the dates of December lst, 2003 and January 16th, 2004. All of the Call Center's
one hundred and twenty-nine (129) employees will be laid off between those dates. The closing of
the Call Center is expected to be permanent. No bumping rights apply. All employees have been
notified of the Call Center's closing pursuant to the Worker Adjustment Retraining and Notification
(WARN) Act.
Attached is a list of the names, addresses, and job titles of the affected employees.
