2013-27 CITY OF CHANHASSEN CARVER AND HENNEPIN COUNTIES, MINNESOTA DATE: April 22, 2013 RESOLUTION NO: 2013 -27 MOTION BY: Laufenburger SECONDED BY: Ernst RESOLUTION APPROVING A LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF CHANHASSEN 2030 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen submitted the proposed Comprehensive Plan Land Use Amendment from Residential — Low Density and Office to Residential — Low and High Density and Office and Residential — High Density to adjacent communities on April 11, 2013, for their review. There were no negative comments. The 60 -day agency review period ended on June 10, 2013. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to review the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map Amendment on April 16, 2013 and voted to recommend that City Council adopt the amendment. WHEREAS, the Chanhassen City Council held a hearing on April 22, 2013 to review the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map Amendment and voted unanimously to approve the amendment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chanhassen City Council approves the 2030 Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map Amendment from Residential — Low Density and Office to Residential — Low and High Density (north of 78` Street West) and Office and Residential — High Density (south of 78' Street West) for the property located at the northwest corner of Highway 5 and Galpin Boulevard and the corresponding Figure 2 -1 Land Use Table in 5 -Year Stages and Figure 2 -2 2008 — 2030 Land Use Comparison.
