Information Form
Thank you for choosing Garage Floor Coating of MN.com (GFC). In order to ensure that your coating experience is a pleasurable
one, we would like to inform you of some aspects of our coating process:
Access to Garage: Homeowner is responsible to provide GFC of MN with access to garage or area (access code, open door, keys,
door opener, etc). Homeowner is not required to be present during coating process. Due to odor and unforeseeable changes in
timetable of crew schedule, making arrangements to be present is discouraged.
Removal of Items: Installers do not move or remove any items from the garage or area to be coated. It is the responsibility of
the customer to have all items removed from the garage prior to installation. Under certain circumstances, our installers will move
a large or bulky item, but only with prior authorization.
Floor Style. Color & Size: Customer has reviewed and approves square footage measurements, floor color, and style.
Customer also understands that there may be slight variations in colors from the samples provided.
Floor Texture: The finished texture of the floor will be rougher than the samples shown or the floor in our warehouse. Samples
do not have antislip on them and finished floor will have antislip and will be rough to the touch to prevent falling.
Water: Customer is responsible for providing an adequate water source and that the installers may use water in the
preparation/cleaning the concrete. In addition, the customer understands that water may splash on baseboards, walls and
cabinets. While the installers use caution, we will not be responsible for reasonable damages.
Efflorescence or moisture vapor transmission: Coatings will not adhere to concrete if these conditions exist. Moisture related
delaminating is not covered under the warranty.
Anti -Slip Aggregate: If a customer chooses not to incorporate anti -slip aggregate additive, the floor may be extremely
slippery when wet. Customer also understands that the coating may be slippery under certain conditions with or without
aggregate additive. Floor will have a noticeable, somewhat rough texture, and will not be completely glossy smooth.
Curing Time: Your new coating requires time to cure. Once the coating process is completed, you can usually walk on the floor
within 24hours, but must not park your vehicles or move heavy items back into the garage for at least 48 hours. Please refer to
specific instructions provided for your project at the time of completion.
Large / Heavy Items: Large appliances or other heavy items should never be dragged across the floor. Use a dolly or hand
truck to prevent damage to the coating.
Grinding / Sanding: During the preparation process it may be necessary to grind or sand the floor, which may create
considerable dust. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any dust sensitive items are isolated from the area.
Odors: In order to provide the highest quality coating, we may use materials that contain a high odor content. These
materials emit odors that may cause temporary discomfort. GFC of NIN makes every effort to minimize the odors from
entering the property. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
Health Issues By signing this form, you have indicated you have no health issues related to respiratory or sensitivity to smell.
GFC is not responsible for any discomfort that may occur during the process or after. If any health issues exist, it is the
homeowners responsibility to make GFC aware before the project starts. A health waiver may need to be signed before we can
proceed.
Damages / Reimbursements: GFC of MN will not issue any reimbursements without prior arrangements.
Gas Water Heaters: GFC of MN may use leaf blowers in the cleaning/drying process. While every precaution is taken, it is
possible that the blower may extinguish the pilot light. This is not a dangerous situation; however we are aware of the
inconvenience this may cause. Please contact us immediately if you are not able to re -light the pilot and we will send someone out
to re -light it for you.
Water Softener: GFC of MN will coat around the water softener unless homeowner has the softener removed.
Garage Cabinets: GFC of MN will not be responsible for pre- existing damages to cabinets.
Battery Acid Damages: GFC of MN will not warranty any coating against battery acid damage. Please use caution when
filling of charging golf cart, motorcycle, or any other automotive type batteries.
Motorcycle Kickstands: Kickstands can scratch your coating. Please use a kickstand pad or take other precautions.
Concrete Cracks: Every attempt will be made to disguise cracks in the concrete slab. However, GFC of MN does not
guarantee that these cracks will not reappear.
Touch Ups / Repairs: If there is ever a need for a touch up or repair, there may be a variation in the coating and chip colors after
the repair is complete. Although GFC of MN will make every attempt to blend the colors, the repair may be noticeable.
Concrete Edges Every attempt will be made to repair edges but damage may still be visible. These areas are not warranteed.

Limited Coating Warranty
(Warranty does not cover concrete failure below coating)
1. Garage Floor Coating of MN.com guarantees against any surface delamination (peeling) due to product failure for the specified
duration of your selected coating system_ Warranty is non - transferable.
2. Garage Floor Coating of MN.com does not guarantee coating against damages caused by customer negligence or abuse. Repairs can
be done at an additional hourly cost.
3. Garage Floor Coating of MN.com does not guarantee against staining caused by hot tires, grease, oil, gasoline, transmission fluid,
or battery acid. These will cause coating to dull in areas where spill /exposure occurs. Regular cleaning with vinegar and water is
required to ensure long life of shine.
4. Garage Floor Coating of MN.com does not guarantee against dulling of finish caused by customer negligence which includes but is
not limited to lack of cleaning/general care, heavy use, harsh chemical cleaning, or cleaning with abrasive materials and/or
chemicals, or the use of scrubbing / buffing machines.
5. Garage Floor Coating of MN.com does not guarantee against cracking of coating caused by concrete heaving, shifting, popping,
settling, or ground movement. Areas can be repaired for an additional charge.
6. Clear Coat is scratch and impact resistant under normal conditions. Clear coat will, however, scratch and /or chip if heavy or sharp
objects are dropped onto, or slid / dragged across floor. General care & caution should always be exercised. Scratches and chips
can be repaired for an additional charge.
7. Touch / repairs: If there is ever a need for a touch up or repair, there may be a variation in the coating and/or chip colors after
the repair is complete. Although Garage Floor Coating of MN.com will make every attempt to blend the colors, the repair may be
noticeable.
8. Concrete Cracks: Every attempt will be made to disguise cracks in the concrete slab; however, Garage Floor Coating of MN.com
does not guarantee that these cracks will not reappear.
9. Span Crete: While application of the Garage Floor Coating system greatly increases protection from water & moisture intrusion, it
is not intended to be a water - proofing solution. Shifting and moving of the Span Crete may occur, and Garage Floor Coating of
MN.com does not guarantee against water leakage /intrusion to areas below Span Crete, or to the actual surface coated as a result.
10. Damaged Floors: This coating is only cosmetic in nature. While every attempt will be made to conceal existing damage, some
flaws / imperfections may be seen after the final coat.
11. Finish Texture: Due to the uneven nature and variation in the coarseness of concrete at the outset, the final finish and/or texture may
vary upon completion.
12. Moisture: Moisture intrusion, hydrostatic pressure, or other moisture related issues are not warranteed, however can be repaired for
an additional charge.
13. Stem Walls: Coated stem wall appearance may vary from floor finish; however every attempt will be made toward uniformity.
14. Expansion Joints: Expansion joints and saw cuts will be filled but may still be visible after final clear coat. Expansion joints are
seams designed to move and shift with the concrete. Each joint is filled with a flexible polymer filler designed to move and shift
along with the concrete. However, in cases of shifting, the coating may crack as it is being stressed by the moving concrete. This is
normal and may be expected.
15. Existing Coating_ If Garage Floor Coating is coating over an existing coating, no warranty will be provided as we cannot
guarantee the bond of the existing coating to the concrete.
16. Rust Stains: Garage Floor Coating does not warranty against rust stains appearing on coating, either from on top or from within.
Any rusty metal items need to have protection between the floor coating and the metal item to ensure against staining.
17. Aprons: Exterior items are exposed to the elements such as weather, ice, heat and may cause concrete to move and shift. Garage
Floor Coating of MN.com offers no warranty on any exterior areas.
18. Any exposed edges such as where driveway and coating meet are not under warranty. These areas expand and contract which
causes movement in the concrete, and cannot be prevented.
19. Aggregate Pops: Aggregate pops may occur in the concrete when moisture pushes the aggregate up and out of the concrete. These
pops are unavoidable when this happens and are not included in our limited warranty.
20. Low Spots / Pooling / Drainage: All coating systems follow the existing contour of the concrete. While every attempt to fill
low areas will be made, they may still remain. You may notice water collecting on the surface of your floor as there is no
longer a porous surface for water to drain. The coating will not redirect drainage of water, but will protect the concrete
from its absorption and consequent deterioration.
By signing this contract, I understand, agree to and accept all conditions of the warranty as stated:
