Lake Ann Park Picnic /Recreation Shelter ', The attached change order with supporting .documents results in a net cost reduction of $373.50 for the Lake Ann Park Shelter contract. The city is realizing credit in two areas; the deletion of SAC fees of $2,800,. and a savings of $183.00 resulting from changes to the I . interior counter space. It has recently become possible to capture existing but unused SAC units utilizing them on a new project, thus the .$2,800 can•be saved. I credit the city's 11 building inspections d'epartment with .bringing this new opportunity to our attention. Additions to the contract include product .changes mandated by the Americans with' I Disabilities Act (ADA), in the amount of $1,727.00. These changes include such items as I new door closures, drinking fountains, and fixture changes. Code requirement • modifications ,andl.electrical provision for telephone• service added .$226:00 and $290:001to the contract, 1 1 respectively. 'This change . ordeer results, in an improved product with. a reduction in cost.
