NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Coiinc.il of the Village of Chanhassen. 1. Due to extreme and ever increasing pressure of the necessity to remove from this village organic matter such as trees, branches, leaves and the like and with the unavailability of any economically feasible method of disposing of such enormous piles of such debris, the Village Council of the Village of Chanhassen requests the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to grant a variance to the present no burning regulations which will permit the open burning under pre- scribed regulations within this village of such organic matter two times per year -- one week in the fall and one week in the spring. 2. The exception to the regulation is urgent and necessary in order to preserve the intent and to fulfill the purposes of the present Pollution Control Agency regulations.
