' Attached please find a copy of the proposed 1991 Capital Improve- ment Program. I After a slow start, the 1991 Park Acquisition and Development Capital Improvement Program (CIP) has matured quickly. The Park - and Recreation Commission first reviewed the Capital Improvement 1 Program at their November 27, 1990 meeting. Upon reviewing the discussion of that evening and following consultation with the Finance Department and yourself, a working draft of the 1991 CIP was developed. Through further planning, the document was I refined to represent a CIP which is progressive, yet fiscally responsible and attainable. The revised version of the CIP was then presented to the Park and Recreation Commission for their 1 approval on December 11, 1991. The Commission wholeheartedly approved the 1991 CIP with one minor change. (The reallocation of $1,000 to purchase swings at North Lotus Lake Park.) 1 Upon conclusion of their discussion, a motion was made and seconded to approve the proposed 1991 Park Acquisition and Develop- ment Capital Improvement Program with the noted change. All 1 voted in favor and the motion carried unanimously.
