Your troop and the following troop /s have both expressed interest in participating in your community. Please contact the Leader from the other troop /s to arrange who will coordinate the effort, (ie. who will call the Mayor's office). Mayor Don Chmiel can be contacted at 937 -1900. You should also let me know the date, time and place so that I may notify your community newspaper. Please arrange to have someone take photos in case the newspaper is not represented. ' Some communities have a set format for proclamations, some do not. I am enclosing a copy of a proclamation that the city could copy onto their letterhead for the mayor to sign if necessary. Remember the Mayor is presenting the proclamation to you after it has been signed. Please request the proclamation be displayed in the City Hall during Girl Scout Week and then sent into the Council Office. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call me at 535 -4602. ' I hope both the process and the event are enjoyable and educational for your troop. Sincerely, Renee B.
