' Dear Ms. Trent:
On behalf of the City of Chanhassen, I would like to thank the Girl
Scouts and their parents for the clean-up of Meadow Green Park.
Your effort in coordinating this community service project is
greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, accumulation of litter and
other trash within the city's parks does occur; through the
' gracious work of the Girl Scouts, the City is better able to
perform its role as guardian of public lands.

II - In appreciation of the Girl Scouts' efforts, I would like to invite
a representative from each troop to the November 18, 1991, City
Council meeting to allow for public recognition of the Girl Scouts.
' The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. , with public announcements
following shortly thereafter. Mayor Don Chmiel will formally
recognize the Girl Scouts for their community service project
during this time. The parents of the Scouts attending and you also
are welcome at this meeting. Please contact me with your feelings
in this regard.
Again, thank you for providing a valuable community service to the
City of Chanhassen.
Sincerely,
/cJ`
