B. Invite to Feb Fest Invitation to February Festival
Annually, the City of Chanhassen, in cooperation with our local business community, sponsors a
series of special events. Our winter special event is "February Festival" which will be held on
Saturday, February 7th. I invite all area residents, their families and friends, to join me at Lake
Ann Park. Events kick off at 12 noon with sledding, skating and a bonfire. Boy Scout Troop
#330 will be selling kits to create your own s'mores. The Chanhassen Lions will offer hot food
concessions. The ice fishing contest runs from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. $2000 in fishing contest prizes
will be awarded with $3500 in door prizes up for grabs. Play bingo on the ice or search for the
Friends of the Library medallion buried somewhere in the City. Finding the medallion is worth
an $1400 prize. Tickets are $5 for adults and children and you may purchase as many as you
like. I hope to see you there!
