SUBJ: Vacation for Crossroads Plaza Addition - West 79th Street
On February 12, 1990, the City Council approved the final lat o
p for
Crossroads Plaza Addition. As part of the process for the final
' plat approval, it is necessary to vacate the old West 79th Street
right-of-way and all old public utility easements described on the
Frontier Development Park plat which are within the area of the new
plat. All of the proposed areas to be vacated are no longer
necessary as a result of the Crossroads Plaza Addition plat.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council adopt the following motion:
' "The City Council approves Vacation Request #90-2, vacating old
West 79th Street right-of-way and all old public utility easements
described on the Frontier Development Park plat as shown on plans
' dated March 20, 1990, with the following condition:
1. The vacation will not be recorded until after the final plat
has been recorded."

I As a part of the process of proceeding with the final plat for the Crossroads
Plaza Addition, it is necessary to vacate the Old West 79th Street Right-of-
Way and all old public utility easements described on the Frontier Development
IPark Plat which are within the area of the new plat.
We recommend that this vacation occur as soon as possible so that these
vacations can be sent to the County in the same time frame as the final plat.
IAttached are two copies of vacation descriptions which can be used for this
purpose. Please pass this information along to the City Planning Department
Ifor review and processing.
