resident of the SouthWest Metro Transit area a daily user of SW Metro Transit s bus service for nearly 15 years and carpooled one year prior to my bus use so I have a keen interest in transit in the SW Metro area As Chanhassen continues to develop I think it is important to ensure we have quality transit options available that meet the needs of our community and I would like to be a part of that process Due to a changing schedule I often drive to Eden Prairie and take the bus from SW Station due to the more limited bus options in Chanhassen I would like to see if I can influence additions to the Chanhassen transit options to benefit Chanhassen riders 4 Specific Qualificationsfor the Position I have been longtime transit user and have experienced the growth an expansion of the SW Metro Transit system over the past 15 years As a Chanhassen resident who works in downtown Minneapolis I understand the needs of regular commuters to and from our city As a long time IT auditor and manager I have had the opportunity to hone my data gathering analytical and interpersonal skills which would all be useful for this position as a representative of our community I am able to work well with
