TO: Mayor and City Council
Scott Botcher, City Manager
FROM: Bob Zydowsky, Chief Law Enforcement Officer
DATE: July 2 I, 1999
SUB J: Law Enforcement Update
Attached is the most recent law enforcement update. July has been and continues to
be a busy month for Public Safety. With the July 4th events and Tot Lot Programs
with Park and Recreation, we have been staying busy. We are looking forward to
the addition of MDC's for our vehicles as part of the technology grant that was
awarded to Carver County, Chaska, and Chanhassen. The MDC's should be
installed in August. This is going to make that communication link between the
agencies even stronger.
Upcoming events planned for public safety are the Safety Camp and Citizen's
Police Academy. As always, if you ever have a question or concerns about an issue
related to law enforcement, please feel free to call me.
