CC Minutes 1998 07 06SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JULY 6, 1998 A special meeting of the Chanhassen City Council was called to order at 4:35 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 1998. The following members were present: Mayor Mancino, Councilmen Engel and Senn. Councilmen Mason and Berquist were absent. Staff present included: Don Ashworth, Pam Snell, Todd Gerhardt, and Financial Advisor Dave MacGillivrary. AWARD OF SALE, 1998 BONDS, SERIES D, E, F & G: Dave MacGillivrary presented the bids received for the 1998 Bond Sale, Series D, E, F & G. A motion was made by Councilman Engel and seconded by Mayor Mancino to award the sale of the following bond issues: Resolution 98-64D: Awarding the Sale of $1,225,000 General Obligation Tax Increment Bonds, Series 1998D; Fixing their form and specifications; directing their execution and delivery; and providing for their payment. Resolution 98-64E: Awarding the Sale of $1,720,000 General Obligation Tax Increment bonds, Series 1998E; Fixing their form and specifications; directing their execution and delivery; and providing for their payment. Resolution 98-64F: Awarding the Sale of $3,410,000 General Obligation Tax Increment Refunding Bonds, Series 1998F; Fixing their form and specifications; directing their execution and delivery; providing for their payment; providing for the escrowing and investment of the proceeds thereof; and providing for the redemption of bonds refunded thereby. Resolution 98-64G: Awarding the Sale of $2,185,000 Taxable General Obligation Tax Increment Refunding Bonds, Series 1998G; Fixing their form and specifications; directing their execution and delivery; providing for their payment; providing for the escrowing and investment of the proceeds thereof; and providing for the redemption of bonds refunded thereby. The following voted in favor: Mayor Mancino and Councilman Engel. Councilman Senn voted no. The motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Engel and seconded by Councilman Senn to adjourn the meeting at 5:30 p.m. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
