()~ November 9,2004 ., \'-.- DATE: RE: Acceptance of Donation During President Bush Visit - ARAMARK Food Services BACKGROUND On October 9,2004, President Bush made an appearance at City Center Park. Numerous people helped make this event possible by working the entire day either at the event site, at satellite parking areas, or at the command center in the Fountain Conference Room. Keeping all these people fed throughout the entire day was a large undertaking, and ARAMARK food services very successfully met the challenge. They estimate that the total cost of their services is as follows: Food Labor Total $677.53 $803.00 $1,480.53 ARAMARK has graciously offered to donate their services for this event. The City of Chanhassen, as well as the other agencies that enjoyed their meals, are very appreciative of their generosity. Mr. Graham is indicating the food and employee labor would be considered a donation by his company for the presidential visit I am certain you will have to treat this donation under your city council policies and procedures.
