lAKE ANN PlANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVEIDPMENT, PRELIMINARY DEVEIDPMENT PIAN AND REZONIN3:
Ed Durm was present. The Council held a public meetiIB on July 28, 1980, to receive
public testimony regarding this proposed developnent.
Councilman Neveaux movEd. to rezone proposEd. Lake Ann PRD to P-l excluding the 12. 7 acres
designated as " hatched red and green am solid red on Exhibit 1A of Planning
Carmission meetiIB June II, 1980, drawn by Urbanscope. Motion seconded by Councilman
Geving. The following voted in favor: Mayor Hobbs, Councilmen Pearson, Neveaux,
Geving, and SWenson. ID negative votes. Motion carried.
Councilman Neveaux moved to grant preliminary plan approval for Lake Ann PUD as shown
on the Urbanscope drawing of June II, 1980, and referriIB to the Planning Cc:mmission
recarmendation of June 11, 1980, with attention also to be paid, during the next step
of the developnent process, to staff recorrmendations #1, 4, 7, 10, and 15 and that a
densi ty of 2. 9 units per acre wi thin the overall 203. 3 acres of the proj ect yielding
a total dwelling unit count not to exceed 600 units on the property. Motion seconded
by Councilman Pearson. The following voted in favor: Mayor Hobbs, Councilmen Pearson,
Neveaux, Geving, arrl Swenson. ID negative votes. Motion carried.
SHORT SLEEVE SESSION, 198 ° PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS: Jim Orr am Dale Campbell
were present project costs arrl the met.h::rlology used in the proposed assessments.
1980 ELECTION EX;2UIPMENT:
RESOWTION #80-24: Councilman Geving moved the adoption of a resolution setting forth
the need to switch fran paper ballots to punch-card voting system. Resolution seconded
by CounciJrnan Neveaux. The fOllowiIB voted in favor: Mayor Hobbs, CounciJrnen Pearson,
Neveaux, Geving, and Swenson. No negative votes. Motion carried.
Councilman Pearson moved to adj ourn. Motion seconded by Councilman Neveaux. The
following voted in favor: Mayor Hobbs, Councilmen Pearson, Neveaux, Geving, am
SWenson. ID negative votes. Meeting adjourned at 11:15 p.m.
