Public Safety Department
· The deputies are bidding for 1999
shifts and it appears that all will,
once again, elect to continue work-
ing with us.
· The mayor's dedication ceremony
for the sirens is set for Wednesday,
November 18 at I p.m. at the Lake
Ann Park sircn--you will receive
more information.
· The rescue truck bids will be
submitted to you soon.
Planning Department
· Staff inspected Mr. Eric Flugum's
property located at 550 Indian Hill
Road and found a few items stored
outdoors. Mr. Flugum has until
November 23, 1998 to relocate the
items into his existing shed.
· Staff continues to monitor the
situation between Bruce Johannson
and Loren Veltkamp in Carver
Beach.
· Mr. David Braslau will be complet-
ing a noise assessment study for
Lewis Engineering and Trotter's
Ridge.
Finance Department
· The city receives a 15% discount
from Merlin's ifpayment is made
within 30 days.
· The legend to fund and department
numbers has been accidentally
. omitted from the last two accounts
payable. We will continue to include
it in upcoming packets and apologize
for the past inconvenience.

. HaUa's Illegal Dumping: Staff
found that the illegal dumping was
performed outside the plat of Halla's
Great Plain Addition, therefore, no
violation of the development contract
has occurred. However, this matter is
being pursued as a civil matter
through the Carver County Sheriff's
Office.
