Appointment of Senior Commissioners
On March 17, 2000, the Senior Commission conducted an interview with Mrs.
Barbara Headla, Mrs. Sherol Howard, and Mr. Dale Geving who applied for Senior
Commission vacancies. The Senior Commission recommended the City Council
reappoint them to the commission.
All applicants are seeking reappointment and have been active in their contributions
to the commission.

Park and Recreation Commission Candidate Interviews
The terms of Commissioners Franks and Moes expire on April I, 2000, Both Mr.
Franks and Mr. Moes have voiced their desire to continue serving the City and
have submitted their signed applications. Mr, Franks has served the Commission
since 1997. Mr. Moes has served since 1998, I have also received notification
from Mr. Rich Slagle, 7411 Fawn Hill Road, and Mr. Jim Perrone, 7729 Cone
Flower Curve South, oftheir desire to serve the Commission. Mr. Slagle
interviewed for a position on the Commission in 1999, Mr, Perrone is a first time
applicant.
I look forward to the City Council appointments.

Appointments to the Environmental Commission
There are three vacant positions on Environmental Commission. Commissioners
Leith and Sacchet have decided to resign ITom the commission. Their terms expire
March 31, 2000. Commissioner Markert would like to be reappointed for a third
term of three years.
Staff advertised the vacancy in the Chanhassen Villager and received one
application ITom Marcus Zbinden. There is still one vacancy on the commission,
An advertisement will run in the Villager until the position has been filled,
