1976 10 11 I I I SPECIAL CHANHASSEN CITY COUNCIL MEETING OCTOBER 11, 1976 Mayor Klìngelhutz called the meeting to order at 7:50 p.m. with the following members present: Councilmen Hobbs, Neveaux, Kurvers, and Waritz. A motion was made by Councilman Neveaux and seconded by Councilman Kurvers that due to the great press of public business which needs attention forthwith that this meeting is convened notwithstanding the fact that it is a holiday. The following voted in favor: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Hobbs, Neveaux, Kurvers, and Waritz. No negative votes. Motion carried. LAREDO DRIVE - CARVER BEACH: Harriet Norum presented problems her and her neighbors are concerned with with the closing of Laredo Drive in Carver Beach. After consideration, a motion was made by Mayor Klingelhutz and seconded by Councilman Hobbs to place this item on the Council agenda for October 18 for consideration. No further work on Laredo Drive is to occur between this date and October 18. The following voted in favor: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Hobbs, Neveaux, Kurvers, and Waritz. No negative votes. Motion carried. PROPOSED 1977 BUDGET: The Council discussed the proposed budget. Councilman Hobbs left the meeting at 10:30 p.m. RESOLUTION #76-80: Councilman Neveaux moved the adoption of a resolution approving the 1976 Tax Levy Collectible in 1977. Resolution seconded by Councilman Waritz. The following voted in favor: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Neveaux, Kurvers, and Waritz. No negative votes. Motion carried. ELECTION JUDGES - GENERAL ELECTION: RESOLUTION #76-81: Councilman Neveaux moved the adoption of a resolution designating the polling places and hours for voting and the election judges and counters for the General Election November 2, 1976. Resolution seconded by Councilman Waritz. The following voted in favor: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Neveaux, Kurvers, and Waritz. No negative votes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Waritz and seronded by Councilman Neveaux to adjourn. The following voted in favor: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Neveaux, Kurvers, and Waritz. No negative votes.
