I I I CaANHASSEN VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING ~ January 20, 1970 The Special Chanhassen Village Council meeting started at B:OO p.m. The following were present: Acting Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff and Pearson; The Village Attorney, Russell Larson, and fiscal agents, Mr. Springsted and Mr. Nolte. Mayor Coulter and Councilmen Hill were absent. The following bids were submitted: re: $90,000.00 General Obligation Revenue Bonds of 1970 NAME OF FIRM NET INTEREST RATE NET INTEREST DOLLAR COST Dain, Kalman & Quail, Inc. First National Bank of St. Paul $44,709.00 $44,608.00 6.6235 6.608 re: $305,000.00 General Obligation Park and Fire Equipment Bonds of 1970. NAME OF FIRM NET INTEREST DOLLAR COST NET INTEREST RATE Dain, Kalman & Quail, Inc. $94,575.U¡ 6.4118 First National Bank of St. Paul $94,397.50 6.3998 re: $145,000.00 Temporary Improvement Bonds of 1970 NAME OF FIRM NET INi1EREST DOLLAR COST NET INTEREST RATE Dain, Kalman & Quail, Inc. $27,600.75 6.3450 First National Bank of St. Paul $27,521.00 6.3266 Robert S.C. Peterson $27,970.50 6.4300 A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Bennyhoff to approve the low bid on the $90,000.00 General Obligation Revenue Bond of 1970; At a net interest dollar cost of $44,608.00 and a net interest of 6.608. The following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff and Pearson. No negative votes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilmen Bennyhoff to approve the low bid on the $305,000.00 General Obligation Park and Fire Equipment Bonds of 1970; At a net interest dollar cost of $94,397.50 and a net interest of 6.3998. The following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff and Pearson. No negative votes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Acting Mayor Klingelhutz and seconded by Councilman Pearson to approve the low bid on the $145,000.00 Temporary Improvement Bond of 1970; At a net interest dollar cost of $27,521.00 and a net interest of 6.3266. The following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff and Pearson. No negative votes. Motion carried.
