CHA~HA$$E~ V¡LLÃGE COUNC¡L MEETING - March 9, 1970
The Special Chanhassen Village Council meeting was held at 8:00
p.m. in the Chanhassen Village Hall on March 9, 1970. The following
members were present: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz,
Pearson, Hill, and Bennyhoff. It was decided to dispense with all
formalities.
MAINTENANCE: A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded
by Councilman Hill to rescind the motion made on March 2, 1970,
authorizing the advertising of bids for a used street sweeper. The
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz,
Bennyhoff, Pearson, and Hill. No negative votes. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Councilman Hill and seconded by Councilman
Pearson to purchase a used mobile street sweeper from the City of
St. Paul, for $1,800.00. The following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Bennyhoff, Pearson, and Hill.
No negative votes. Motion carried.
ZONING ORDINANCE: Discussion started on Section 14 of the proposed
Zoning Ordinance. Section 14 and 15 were discussed in length.
Sections 14 through 26 will be turned over to the Village Attorney
for final redraft and will be returned to the Council as soon as

A motion was made by Councilman Hill and seconded by Councilman
Bennyhoff to adjourn. The following voted in favor thereof: M~yor
Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Bennyhoff, Pearson, and Hill. No
negative votes. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
