1970 04 06 r I I I ~ CHANHAS$EN VILLAGE COUNCIL MINUTES - April 6, 1970 The regular Chanhassen Village Council Mee~ing on April 6, 1970 at 8:00 p.m. was opened with the Pledge to the Flag. The following members were present: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Pearson, and Hill. Councilman Bennyhoff was absent. COUNCIL MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Klingelhutz and seconded by Councilman Hill to approve the Council minutes of March 16, and 23, 1970. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Pearson, and Hill. No negative votes. Motion carried. PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Klingelhutz that the Planning Commission minutes of March 31, 1970 be noted and read. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Pearson, and Hill. No negative votes. Motion carried. PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Klingelhutz and seconded by Councilman Pearson that the March 17, and 31, 1970 Park and Recreation Commission minutes be noted and read. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Pearson, and Hill. No negative votes. Motion carried. PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION: A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Klingelhutz authorizing the Park and Recreation Commission a Petty Cash Fund in the amount of $75.00 for the Summer Recreation Program. The following voted in favor thereof; Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Pearson, and Hill. No negative votes. Motion carried. / , , A motion was made by Councilman Klingelhutz and seconded by Councilman Pearson to appoint Mr. Robert Fayfield to the Park and Recreation Commission, appointment to run until December 31, 1970. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Pearson, and Hill. No negative votes. Motion carried. HIGHWAYS 169 - 212 - 41: A motion was made by Councilman Klingelhutz and seconded by Councilman Pearson adopting the following Resolution # 4670-1. A motion was made by Mayor Coulter and secunded by Councilman Pearson tha~ the Administrator send a letter to the contractor for project # 69-2 informing him of the residents complaint' on nu·t being not:if led that the water would be shut~ off. The contractor is t:o notify t.he Village by letter of the results of his meeting with Mr. Bakke. Mayor Coulter, CounciJmen Pearson and KJingelhutz voted yes. Councilman rrj.ll voted no. A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Klingelhutz to adjourn. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Pearson, and Hill.
