Pearson. Absent: Dr. Bennyhoff. MR. HUSKINS: Mr. Huskins was present to request a change in the valuation that was placed on his property by the Village Assessor. A motion was made by Councilman Klingelhutz· and seconded by Councilman Pearson that Mr. Huskins market value be set at $44,000.00. The following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Klingelhutz, Neils and Pearson. Mayor Coulter voted no. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Neils that the Board of Review adjourn. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Neils and Pearson. No negative votes. Motion carried. Adjourn 8:35 p.m. CHANHASSEN VILLAGE COUNCIL MINUTES ~ July 8, 1970 The Special Chanhassen Village Council meeting was held on July 8, 1970, at 8:35 p.m., in the Chanhassen Village Hall. It was decided to dispense with all formalities. The following members were present: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Neils and Pearson. Councilman Bennyhoff was absent. FISCAL CONSULTANTS: 1. Springsted, Inc. - Mr. Springsted 2. T. G. Evensen & Associates, Inc. - Mr. Olson 3. Ehlers & Associates, Inc. - Mr. Ehlers The above Fiscal Consultants were interviewed, individually, and explained what their companies had to offer if they were appointed as the Village Fiscal Consultant. No action was taken on the appointment, at this time. A decision will be made at the July 13, 1970 Meeting. PARK AND RECREATION: A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Klinge1hutz to approve the agreement with Brauer and Associates, dated June 24, 1970, for a comprehensive site plan for the Lake Ann Project. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz and Pearson. Councilman Neils abstained. Councilman Neils abstained from voting because she was not on the Council when this contract was discussed in detail and could not render a knowledgeable decision. I CHANHASSEN . VILLAGE COUNCIJ-1MINUTES - JtÜy 8, ;1,970 -2.... 1 i TREASURER: A motion was made by Councilman Klingelhutz and I seconded by Councilman Pearson that legal fees in the amount of $577.00 be transferred from the Acquisition Fund to the Park and Recreation Commission Budget under Legal and that $804.30 be transferred from the Acquisition Fund to be charged against Bond Issue money. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Neils and Pearson. No negative votes. Motion carried. SIGNS: A motion was made by Councilman Klingelhutz and seconded by Councilman Neils that "no parking" signs be placed from a point from 66th Street to 70th Street on Huron, on both sides of the road, in Carver Beach. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Klingelhutz, Neils and Pearson. No negative votes. Motion carried. LEGAL: Attorney Luke Melchert is to continue as the Assistant Village Attorney in Breach of the Peaae violations. A motion was made by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Neils to adjourn.
