1971 06 28 ~ I I I CHANHASSEN VILLAGE COUNCIL MINUTES - June 28, 1971 Mayor Coulter opened the special Chanhassen Village Council meeting on June 28, 1971, at 7:00 p.m., in the Chanhassen Village Hall. Members present: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, Neils and Wolf. A motion was made by Councilman Bennyhoff and seconded by Councilman Klingelhutz to dispense with all formalities. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. BOND RATING: A motion was made by Councilman Bennyhoff and seconded by Councilman Klingelhutz to remove the motion from the table (motion tabled at the June 21, 1971, méeting: a motion was made by Councilman Bennyhoff and seconded by Council- man Klingelhutz to table any action on authorizing Moódys to rate our upcoming Bond Issue}. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. There was general discussion on the bond rating. A motion was made by Councilman Bennyhoff and seconded by Council- man Wolf to not authorize a Moody rating at this time. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Bennyhoff and seconded by Council- man Klingelhutz that the Prospectus be rewritten and brought up- to-date for this for this issue and that the bonds be sold. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Klingelhutz and seconded by Councilman Bennyhoff that for the next Prospectus, a committee be set up to write a complete history and future expectations for the Village and this to be kept current. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. PARK AND RECREATION: The minutes should reflect that the Park Planner and the Contractor should be on the Agenda for the next meeting. Planner and Contractor to be notified. SEWER AND WATER RATES: A motion was made by Mayor Coulter and seconded by Councilman Wolf to hold the billing for the sewer and water until the 15th of July. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. ~. CHANHASSEN VILLAGE COUNCIL MINUTES - June 28, 1971 -2- OLD VILLAGE HALL: A motion was made by Councilman Neils and I seconded by Councilman Wolf that the Old Village Hall be leased to Mrs. Donald Grover for $60.00 a month with the same conditions that it was rented before. The rental fee to go into a special fund for the future restoration of the building. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Coulter, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Klingelhutz, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Bennyhoff and seconded by Councilman Klingelhutz to adjourn.
