1972 02 21 ~ - I I CHANHASSEN VILLAGE COUNCIL MINUTES - February 21, 1972 The following members of the Village Council were present: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. A motion was made by Councilman Wolf and seconded by Councilman Kurvers that the Village Council feels it is of public necessity and deems it necessary to hold an official Council Meeting on a legal holiday, February 21, 1972. COUNCIL MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Neils and seconded by Councilman Kurvers that the Council Minutes of January 17, 1972, be approved. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Kurvers and seconded by Councilman Neils that the Public Hearing Minutes of January 31, 1972, be approved. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. COUNCIL MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Neils and seconded by Councilman Wolf that the Council Minutes of January 31, 1972, be approved. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Wolf and seconded by Councilman Kurvers that the Council Minutes of February 7, 1972, be approved. A motion was made by Councilman Wolf and seconded by Councilman Neils to amend the Council Minutes of February 7, 1972, reflecting that the Village Council stated that all avenues in obtaining federal funds for the North Service Area project be pursued. The following voted in favor thereof (the original motion and the amendment): Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Wolf and seconded by Councilman Kurvers to approve the Public Hearing Minutes of February 7, 1972. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Neils and seconded by Councilman Wolf that the Planning Commission Minutes of January 25, 1972, be noted and read. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. ~ ! The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. II ¡ PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Neils and seconded by Councilman Wolf that the Park and Recreation Commission Minutes of January 18, 1972, be noted and read. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Neils and seconded by Councilman Kurvers that the Park and Recreation Commission Minutes of February 1, 1972, be noted and read. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Wolf and seconded by Councilman Neils that the Industrial Commission Minutes of February 2, 1972, be noted and read. The fOllowing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen I Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. HUl~N RIGHTS COMMISSION MINUTES: A motion was made by Councilman Wolf and seconded by Councilman Kurvers that the Human Rights Commission Minutes of January 27, 1972, be noted and read. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. ZONING ORDINANCE: The Village Attorney passed out a total Zoning Ordinance in its final form. A motion was made by Councilman Neils and seconded by Councilman Wolf to approve Section 18, entitled "F-l FLLOD PLAIN AND WATER- COURSE DISTRICT", as submitted. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. BILLS: A motion was made by Councilman Wolf and seconded by Councilman Neils to approve the bills as submitted. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. ANNUAL REPORT: The Village Treasurer was present to answer any I questions on the annual report. A motion was made by Coucilman Wolf and seconded by Councilman Neils to approve the Annual Report and publish it in the newspaper as required by law. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. SCHOOLS: A motion was made.by Councilman Wolf and seconded by Councilman Neils that the Administrator's expenses be paid for attending Management Development Practices on March 9, 1972. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Wolf and seconded by Councilman Kurvers that the registration fee of $19.00 be paid for the Mayor, Councilmen, Administrator and the Village Attorney, for Cable Communications in the 70's School. The following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Klingelhutz, Councilmen Bennyhoff, Kurvers, Neils and Wolf. No negative votes. Motion carried.
