PLEASANT ACRES CON'T: The Administrator also read the following memo I
dated November 10, 1972:
TO: Mayor and Village Council
FROM: Adolph Tessness
.
SUBJECT: BUILDING PERMIT (PLEASANT ACRES)
A building permit was obtained in Pleasant Acres for a small
home with an attached garage. The garage door has one 10' x 12'
overhead door. Mr. Keith Anderson is objecting to the size of the
home and also the large overhead door in the front. The Building
Permit was issued on October 2, 1972. The house under construction
meets the following zoning requirements:
REQUIRED AMOUNT
1. Lot Frontage
2. West side yard
3. East side yard
4. Front yard
129.15 ft.
43 ft.
32.15 ft.
33 _ ft.
90 ft.
10 ft.
10 ft.
30 ft.
The home does meet all building code requirements. The garage
is a permitted accessory use.
Enclosed is a document entitled Exhibit A, that was given to me I
approximately 2 weeks ago by Mrs. Les Anderson. I checked at
the County Courthouse today (Nov. 10, 1972) with the Register
of Deeds Office and these restrictive covenants have NOT been
filed at this time.
Attached is a copy of the petition I received today.
The Administrator stated that the Building Permit issued to Andy
Romaniek does not violate the Building Code nor the Zoning
Ordinance in any way. The Council discussed with both the persons
present objecting and the homeowner about possible changes in
design. The Council stated that since this does not violate any
Ordinance that this matter did not require any Council action.
COMMISSIONS:
Human Rights: General discussion was held by the Council that
ther Human Rights Commission only has 5 members on it and that a
search should be made by the Council and all interested individu~l~
to find more people who would be interested in serving on the
Human Rights Commission.
Industrial Commission: There are only 6 members on this Commission
at thTs time. Genreal discussion was held by the Council on the I
direction in which this Commission should proceed in the future.
Each Commission Chairman and Dept. Head should appear before the
Council prior to January 1, 1973 and express his opinions in
regard to his Commission or Dept.
