The City has a 22 acre building site law so that prople will not build in unsewered areas. We have urban -rural tax districts. Chanhassen has the tools to guide growth. Metro Council has promised the City utility expansion from years back and have not followed through on it. Chanhassen is ready to proceed in an orderly planned manner. The concept proposed appears to have merit. However, we would like to reserve to Chanhassen the right to call in Metro Council advice to help us do our planning if the need arises.
