Botcher, City Manager ~ z . FROM: DATE: February 10, 2000 SUBJ: City Council Agenda, February 14,2000 Some miscellaneous thoughts covering a few items on tonight's agenda: Item Ig: We are simply receiving the feasibility study and setting a public hearing for this project. We are not committing, as a city, one way or the other on this project at this point in time. Item 2.5: This item was originally listed under the Consent Agenda, but I placed it under Unfinished Business so that you would have the opportunity to discuss it. It is my understanding that you approved plans for this intersection previously (a year or so ago), but as these plans have been modified, I felt you should have the opportunity to discuss them. A MnDOT retained consultant will be present to answer any questions you may have. Item 8: The correspondence from the Park & Recreation Department is included in your packet. You may wish to think back to the budget approval process wherein I believe your desire was to make up any shortfall in the fundraising. As always, please call me if you have any questions. g:\user\scottb\ccmemo 2-14.doc ,City o[Chanhassen.
