The City opened bids for the Bluff Creek Bank Stabilization Project on
February 24, 2000. T M S Construction Company was the low bidder on the
project. The results of the bidding were as follows:

Because of my departure, and the unseasonably warm weather we have had in
February, I believe that delaying construction until next fall, will provide the
best conditions for the success of this project. Upon approval of this bid, we
anticipate construction to begin on August 18, 2000.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the bid in the amount of
$38,741.50 from T M S Construction Company for the Bluff Creek Bank
Stabilization project.

Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum on the Proposal form.
SPECIFICATION CHANGES
1. Access Route Restoration. All areas disturbed by access trail construction or
other construction activities (except for designated slope areas on the plan) shall
be reseeded with a cover-mix (winter wheat) after the construction.
2. Special Provision No.3, Sequence and Scheduling. The start and completion
dates shall be revised to require construction in the fall of 2000. The following
completion dates shall be substituted:
Start Construction: August 18, 2000
Complete Construction: November 10, 2000
