SUBJ: Vacation and Relocation of a Drainage and Utility
Easement Located at 15 Choctaw Circle, Rick Murray

On August 3, 1990, Planning staff approved an administrative
subdivision for Rick Murray. Mr. Murray's residence is at 15
Choctaw Circle (Lot 1, Block 1, Lotus Lake Estates) and he also
owns the adjacent outlot to the east (Outlot A) . In order to add
an addition to his garage and maintain the required side yard
' setback, Mr. Murray adjusted the easterly lot line of Lot 1
approximately 20 ft. to the east. This required an administrative
subdivision to adjust the internal lot line of Lot 1, Block 1 and
lOutlot A.
There was an existing 6 ft. drainage and utility easement on the
easterly lot line of Lot 1, Block 1. A new 6 ft. drainage and
utility easement description has been provided along the with new
lot line description, but the existing easement must be vacated by
resolution of the City Council.
Recommendation
' Planning staff recommends the City Council adopt the following
motion:
"The City Council recommends approval of Vacation Request #90-
1 4 to vacate a 6 ft. drainage and utility easement adjacent to
the easterly line of Lot 1, Block 1, Lotus Lake Estates as
described on Attachment #1. "
