Appointments to Senior Commission
There are four vacancies on the Senior Commission and all incumbent members
wish to be reappointed. Staff advertised the vacancies in the Chanhassen Villager,
however, no new applicants applied. The four commissioners seeking
reappointment have been active in their contributions to the commission.
RECOMMENDATION
The Senior Commission recommends that the following four incumbents be
reappointed: Tom Faust, Jean Mancini, Mel Kurvers, and AI Olson. The council
should appoint two members for a 2-year term and two members for a 3-year term.
Tom Faust and AI Olson expressed interested in the 2-year terms.
