Resolution Authorizing the Conveyance of City Owned Property
The City Attorney has requested the City Council approve the resolution
conveying Lots Two (2) and Three (3), Block One (1), Crossroads Plaza3rd
Addition (the land on West 79th Street next to Applebee's) to Infinity of
Chanhassen, LLC.
The resolution also outlines that the sale of the property is consistent with the
City's Comprehensive Plan and that it is in the best interest of the City of
Chanhassen to place the property back on the tax rolls,
RECOMMEfI,¡TIATION
Staff would recommend that the City Council approve the attached resolution
conveying Lots 2 and 3, Block I, Crossroads Plaza 3rd Addition to Infinity of
Chanhassen, U"C.

RESOLUTION AUmORIZING THE
CONVEYANCE OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen is the fee owner of the real property ("Property")
described as follows:
Lots Two (2) and Three (3), Block One (1), Crossroads Plaza 3rd
Addition, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in
the office of the County Recorder and/or the office of the Registrar
of Titles of Carver County, Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the City has been attempting to dispose of the Property and Infinity of
Chanhassen, LLC, a limited liability company under the laws of the State of Minnesota has
offered to purchase the Property pursuant to a Purchase Agreement dated April 30, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed disposal of the Property has no
relationship to the City's Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the conveyance of the Property to the developer
is in the best interest of the citizens of the City in that the Property will be returned to the tax
rolls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Chanhassen, Minnesota:

The City Manager and the Mayor are hereby authorized to execute the Purchase
Agreement and any and all other documents necessary in the opinion of the City
Attorney to convey to Infmity of Chanhassen, LLC the following described
property according to the terms of the Purchase Agreement:
