The resolution also outlines that the sale of the property is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and that it is in the best interest of the City of Chanhassen to place the property back on the tax rolls, RECOMMEfI,¡TIATION Staff would recommend that the City Council approve the attached resolution conveying Lots 2 and 3, Block I, Crossroads Plaza 3rd Addition to Infinity of Chanhassen, U"C. RECITALS WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen is the fee owner of the real property ("Property") described as follows: Lots Two (2) and Three (3), Block One (1), Crossroads Plaza 3rd Addition, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder and/or the office of the Registrar of Titles of Carver County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the City has been attempting to dispose of the Property and Infinity of Chanhassen, LLC, a limited liability company under the laws of the State of Minnesota has offered to purchase the Property pursuant to a Purchase Agreement dated April 30, 2002; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed disposal of the Property has no relationship to the City's Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the conveyance of the Property to the developer is in the best interest of the citizens of the City in that the Property will be returned to the tax rolls. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota: 1.
