Various lines of equipment were looked at prior to preparing a final recommendation. A quotation from the fitness store in the amount $11,821.50 is recommended. We are finalizing expenditures associated with the fire station. The account, including monies budgeted for fitness equipment, is very near a zero balance. Prior to this office authorizing the purchase of the equipment noted, staff will verify that monies are available for such purchase. We are also recommending for saftey reasons that we purchase weightstack and pulley enclosures so fingers will be protected, the cost add for the enclosures runs 504.00 . Lastly for an additional 125.00 we can have the equipment set up and assembled in our department. The Fitness Store will include in the price a class to be held at the department for all people interested in using the exercise equipment. The total amount requested is listed below.
