MEMORANDUM
ITO: Mayor and City Council
FROM: Don Ashworth, City Manager
IDATE: June 26 , 1989
SUBJ: Transfer of Ownership from Bloomberg Companies to
IInternational Broadcasting Corporation, Thomas M. Scallon
I Thomas Scallon is the new owner of the Dinner Theatre as it
changes hands from Bloomberg Companies to International
Broadcasting. Mr. Scallon was unsure as to proper procedures for
II meeting Council members. Specifically, he would like to reaffirm
International Broadcasting' s desire to be a part of our community
and to continue Dinner Theatre operations in a fashion similar to
that which has gained it' s national recognition. Although I am
I sure there will be numerous casual events where Council members
will be able to discuss the change in more detail, I felt it was
worthwhile to invite Mr. Scallon to this meeting. Again, I would
II anticipate Mr. Scallon ' s presentation to be short. No decisions
will be required as a part of the presentation.
