Recently acquired neighborhood parks have included the installation of a covered

construct 14 new picnic shelters over a five -year timeline and fill a current void in
the city's park and recreation infrastructure system. Doing so will help ensure that

Planning & Funding for the project is included in the 2014 -18 Capital Improvement Program at
Natural Resources $100,000 per year in General Fund surplus dollars for five years. Each of the

Public Works installation and site restoration. Construction materials will be of an all steel no
