Accept Storm Sewer Improvements in Southwest Tech Center
Project No. 99-17
Staff has received a letter ITom GeoffPrelgo, Project Engineer with RLK, Inc.,
requesting the City consider acceptance of the storm sewer improvements in the
above-referenced project. According to Mr. Prelgo, the public portion of the storm
sewer improvements has been completed in conformance with the approved plans
and specifications. City staff performed a walk-through inspection ofthe project
and found that the utilities are in satisfactory condition. All testing has been
successfully completed as well.
It is therefore recommended that the City Council accept the public storm sewer
improvements in Southwest Tech Center for perpetual maintenance and ownership
conditioned upon the contractor supplying the City with maintenance bonds
guaranteeing the storm sewer improvements for a two-year period commencing on
the date of acceptan'qe.
