Re: Resolution Approving Concept Plan For The Reconstruction Of Highway 101
From West 78th Street To Pleasant View Road - Project No. 97-12
Dear Mr. Grube:
Enclosed please find a copy of the above-referenced resolution passed by the Chanhassen
City Council on May 8, 2000.
The concept approved by the Council as described in the resolution corresponds to
Option IA studied by SRF. The City respectfully requests that SRF be directed to begin
design of Option IA.
As you are aware, $2.6 million in TIF has been identified for this project. A requirement
of these funds is that the environmental review and final plan'approvals be completed in
calendar year 2000.
The City requests a written response to this letter and the attached resolution outlining the
schedule for preparation of the plans. Because of concerns about the timeframe related to
the TIF dollars, the City requests a response by May 31, 2000. Please contact me if it
will not be possible to respond by that date.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. I can be reached at 952-
937-1900, ext. 156 or bye-mail attbun¡;ess(a)ci.chanhassen.mn.us.
Sincerely,
CITY OF CHANHASSEN
