Accept Street & Storm Drainage Improvements in The Woods at
Longacres 5th & 6th Additions - Project Nos. 99-15 & 99-16
Staff has received a letter fÌ'om Mr. Doug Stahl, Project Engineer with Schoel! &
Madson, Inc., requesting the City consider acceptance of the public street and storm
drainage improvements in the above-referenced project. According to Mr. Stahl, the
public street and storm drainage improvements have been completed in accordance
with the approved plans and specifications. The public street and storm drainage
improvements have been tested and approved by City staff. Staff has performed a
walk-through inspection of the project and found the project ready for final
acceptance.
It is therefore recommended that the City Council accept the public street and storm
drainage improvements in The Woods at Longacres 5t1i & 6th Additions, Project
Nos. 99-15 and 99-16, for perpetual maintenance and ownership conditioned upon
the developer andlor contractor supplying the City with an acceptable maintenance
bond guaranteeing the street and storm drainage improvements for a two-year period
commencing on the date of acceptance.
