Obviously, our I Trunk Highway 101 realignment activity has also kept us in close contact with the Highway 5 improvements. I As indicated in the attached notice to abutting property owners on Highway 5 , MnDOT will be holding an open house on October 20 and an informational meeting on October 27 for interested members I of the public to, in detail, review the project . I therefore thought it would be appropriate to have MnDOT staff update the Council on the project prior to the public meetings so that the Council will be fully aware of the construction activities 1 planned and schedule for the project . This is an informational presentation and therefore no Council action will be necessary. I Concerning the October 27th informational meeting , MnDOT has requested that the City provide a moderator to control the meeting. The Mayor served in this roll for Eden Prairie. IAttachments I 1.
