ISUBJ: Final Project Acceptance of Streets for Carver Beach Estates
File No. 84-9 , Jeff Boeck
IIAttached is a letter from the City' s consultant on the subject
project certifying that the streets and project have been
II completed in general conformance with the plans and specifica-
tions , and is therefore ready for the City ' s acceptance and per-
petual maintenance. Staff has reviewed this project and offers
the following comments.
I
Staff did find two minor items that need to be taken care of for
the final acceptance of this project, those items being 1 ) the
I rocks on the retaining wall need to be placed properly and
secured such that they will not be displaced; and 2 ) a small
amount of seeding remains to be done on the very easterly end of
ILake Lucy Road.
Since these items are minor and do not warrant holding up of the
warranty bond for the streets, we are recommending that this pro-
I ject, Carver Beach Estates , be accepted for the City' s main-
tenance contingent upon the two minor items previously mentioned
above, and the Developer supplying the City with a one-year
I warranty bond for the maintenance of the streets. It should be
noted that the financial security will not be released until
these items are met.
