Continue to advocate different forms of transit and build on Carver County's efforts to promote safe driving. 3. Mentor, participate and educate future generations through programs such as the Capstone Project (work with Goddard School, reach out to high school seniors, invite children to the senior center for activities, etc.). 4. Prolong independent living in the home. Continue to introduce a variety of programs to assist with daily living such as Universal Design, Store to Door, Meals on Wheels, CarFit, Transit, etc. 5. Continue to be an active member of the TRIAD. TRIAD is a partnership between law enforcement, the community and the senior citizen community all working together to keep our senior citizens safe. The TRIAD program is coordinated through the Sheriff's Reserve Program. The implementation plan has three phases: The first phase includes meeting with senior citizen commissions to provide brochures and contacts for the senior citizen community. The Carver County Sheriffs Office TRIAD program will help provide presenters and support for events. The second phase includes proactive coordination of events and topics for discussion through the Carver County Sheriff's Office TRIAD Program; the third phase includes conducting large -scale events e.g. County -wide personal safety, home security or traffic safety seminars.
