City Council approval requires a simple majority vote of those present. BACKGROUND The easements which the applicant is applying for to vacate were dedicated with the construction of Tanadoona Drive and 78th Street West. Instead of obtaining right -of- way for these roads, the City was granted easement over the land. The easements were intended to be temporary, until the land was re- platted, at which time they would be dedicated as right -of -way. With the Arbor Cove development final plat, the property, currently covered by easement, will be dedicated as City right -of -way. The resolution will take effect simultaneously with the registration of the Arbor Cove final plat, when the easements will no longer be necessary.
