Arbor Day 2000 Poster Winner
Attending the May 8 City Council meeting will be Adam Link and his family;
mom, Holly, dad, Brian, and sister Brittany. The Chapel Hill Academy student
will be there in honor of being selected as the Arbor Day 2000 poster contest
winner. That night the Council will be congratulating Adam on his work and
presenting him with a certificate for a free sugar maple tree from Lotus Lawn and
Garden. Also that evening, we will be hanging his framed poster in the council
chambers.
Over 60 poster entries were received from Chapel Hill Academy and S1. Hubert's
School. The Environmental Commission reviewed all the posters and selected
Adam's as the winner. His outstanding artwork provided a wonderful focal point
for this year's Arbor Day poster.
